Good news: Savings Rate Increase - 29th September 2022
Chorley Building Society is committed to providing long term value to our Members and supporting them, wherever they may be on their savings journey.
Our accounts do not directly track the Bank of England base rate, but following the base rate change increase in August, we are pleased to say that we are raising the interest rate across the majority of our savings accounts. For detailed information on these changes visit our website here.
If you hold any of the accounts where the interest rate has increased, you do not need to do anything and this will take effect from the 29th September 2022.
Following feedback from our Members, we are also now making it easier to transfer money from existing accounts held with the Society to new Chorley Building Society accounts.
