49ers Football Schedule and Broadcast Reminder

Click here Thursday, September 10, 2020 As the 2020 football season begins this weekend with the 49ers traveling to Boone to take on the Mountaineers, we wanted to remind you of this season's games and broadcast schedule. First Two Road Games The Charlotte 49ers season-opener at 20th-ranked (ESPN Power rankings) Appalachian State on Sat., Sept. 12 will be played at 12 noon and aired nationally on ESPN2. Charlotte's road game at 18th-ranked (AP) North Carolina on Sept. 19, will be a 3:30 kick and produced by ACC Network for regional distribution. Remaining Schedule As previously released on Aug. 28, Conference USA announced its initial broadcast schedule for the 2020 football season which includes broadcast plans for eight additional Charlotte games. Six games will be available through ESPN3 or ESPN+, including its home opener vs. Georgia State, Sept. 26 and five C-USA matchups. The 49ers contest at Marshall, Nov. 21, will be available on Stadium. Charlotte's final game of the regular season, at home against WKU, Nov. 28, will be on CBS Sports Network. Broadcast plans for the game at Duke have not been released yet. Please note that all dates and times are subject to change. Tickets Currently, tickets are not available for the three September games. If circumstances improve and allow fans to be in attendance at any of the remaining home games, the athletic department will share an individual game ticket model that would give advance access to season ticket holders and prioritize accommodating UNC Charlotte students. Details for remaining away game tickets will be available later.
