COVID-19 an update from our managing director. View Online Open for business with your safety being our number one priority Dear Mr Berliner, Since 1945 we at the Sinclair Group have been very conscious of our place within the economy of South Wales and the role we play in the lives of our customers. Given the evolving situation with the Coronavirus, we wanted to let all our customers know how we are responding and to reassure you that we remain open and available to all who need us. We remain focused on your safety in everything we do. We are continuing with the normal high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our businesses. But, in response to the Coronavirus, we have taken a number of additional steps to provide everyone with extra protection: All of our staff have been fully briefed in all Coronavirus protocols designed to reduce the spread of the infection.   As these are updated we are making sure our staff receive all new advice.   We have increased the frequency of cleaning in our public areas.   All our technicians have been instructed to use seat covers, gloves and steering wheel covers. Ensuring they wipe down the steering wheel/controls of their car before handing it back. In order to limit any inconvenience that you may be worried about: We have increased the availability of our collection and delivery service - making sure that those customers who would rather not attend one of our sites can still get their vehicle maintained.   We are able to offer an off-site delivery service for any new or used vehicle you purchase from us.   We have video technology in all our businesses that will allow us to share with you the visual checks of any car you leave in our workshop. You will be kept fully up to date on its status.   This technology can also provide you with an in-depth view of any vehicle that we have on site that you are thinking of purchasing. In effect we can bring the'Showroom' to your living room. Our colleagues’ safety As a responsible employer, we also have a duty to protect the health and wellbeing of our colleagues across Wales. We have taken a range of measures to do this in line with Government guidelines. With this in mind, we would also ask all our customers who have been to any of the locations listed on the UK Government website or have been advised to self-isolate to let us know. We can then discuss with you what measures we need to put in place to ensure we all stay safe. All of these contingencies will evolve as new information becomes available. We will do our best to keep all our valued customers informed as the situation changes. We are committed to the delivery of the same levels of great service that you have come to expect from us, and will be taking advantage of all technologies at our disposal to make your time with us as safe as possible. Finally, I would like to wish all our customers, colleagues and their families well. There is no denying we are in unprecedented times, but with patience and understanding we will all get through this together.
