Send UNC Charlotte Student Veterans to a National Conference this #GivingTuesday

Be a part of #GivingTuesday #GivingTuesday is Today! Give Back to UNC Charlotte Student Veterans Students, faculty and staff are signing nearly 1,000 holiday cards to send to our troops today.   This year, the University's #GivingTuesday project is to send student veterans to the Student Veterans of America National Conference. This conference focuses on both personal and professional development. It also aims to help students learn how to further their local SVA chapters on campus.   These student veterans need your support to cover the cost of transportation, lodging, and conference registration. Visit their crowdfunding page for more information and the opportunity to support our UNC Charlotte student veterans. Take it from Chris Brasel, U.S. Navy veteran and UNC Charlotte junior - this conference is very important for the student veteran population here. As of this morning, 23 donors have given a total of $1,470. A generous UNC Charlotte alumnus and veteran has agreed to match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $4,000 for this project.
