Well Mary i swear to you and am not lying and applied for Medicaid and i told them all my health issues
they told me that i didnt qualify cause i needed to be 65 or disable like blind or have children
And i freak out cause many of friends all over the USA got medicaid and they are not disable or 65

Not from Texas here.
Medicaid is national.
I AM from New York also.
Don't freak out. You just need to know how to play the game. Social Services will help but it is also a game you need to know.
I was severely sick and got rejected alot also.
I get SSI. It can be that or disability. I didn't qualify for that because I hadn
t worked enough full time in the past years even though as a woman, I was a spouse , and only worked part time and the rest of the time i took care of my kids. Didn't count.
Anyway, after years of rejection from social services, I got SSI.
THEN I was automatically eligible for medicaid and from there got some other services. This has nothing to do with Texas. It's a national thing.
