Subject: [PanicZone] Medication Withdrawal Question

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences. I was taking Zoloft from late 2003 and decided it wasn't working for me anymore last September and decided to withdraw. Now I was stupid and didn't do it properly. I didn't taper as much as I should have but I didn't seem to get any immediate signs of issues. I felt the same up until about December where I just started crying for no reason and not being able to stop. The panic attacks are back in a big way making it almost unbearable to leave my house again. I feel dizzy, depressed, lost, full of adrenaline and wonder if this is from stopping the Zoloft? if it was wouldn't all these things have happened immediately? not down the track? I have read online people encountering these issues in the first month but then they feel better. For me I was ok the first few months now I feel as though I am a different person. I am really not coping.

The only thing that can happen when I
have a panic attack is that it will pass
whether it passes quickly or slowly
depends whether I drop the idea of it
being dangerous or not.
