[PanicZone] Re: Jessie has question about meds

And you tried the SSRI's?
Female I assume + how old are you?
HOW long have you had this cndition?
So alcoholism is inherited but you WERE self medicating?
(I've had addictions, but only to uppers and I'm a "stepper" fyi).
Because it sounds biological to me.
I am so sik of not sleeping myself.
And even on benzos I'm only getting shallow sleep.
Have you had an addiction to benzos "yet"?
You are high risk... myex is alcoholic and cannot go near benzos any more.
He had a seizure in an ER and they locked him up in a VA hosptital and gave him 'suboxone'. But he told me he could not sleep for months.
One of my aquaintances from another site took Melatonin and Valerian is another herb. They say online that withdrawal from benzos is the worst... Some report it can take 2 years. But that the "slightly better days" (called windows) increase monthly.
I read about benzos and I'm scared of them.
I used to take 4-5 a year with a prescription and it never bothered me. But for over a month I have taken them daily now.
Some say it takes 2-4 months for addiction to set in.
I could never tolerate donwers but in my menopause it all changed.
I'm having a late but severe menopause. Hot flashes are the good part.
I am getting better but I thihk it is the bio-ientical estrogen I started less than a week ago. I hope he increases it this week. I am so scared of banzos.
There is one benzo that my friend takes and he has not had to inrease it in 20 years. It is caleld Serax. So that is what I asked for. If I get a pich of relief from anxiety and panic per week or a month it is treasured.
I have heard that Clonazapam can be extremely hard to get off of. Yet some eome have no problem with it at all.
I am so sick of not sleeping too.

The only thing that can happen when I
have a panic attack is that it will pass
whether it passes quickly or slowly
depends whether I drop the idea of it
being dangerous or not.
