I am Nina, 45, single parent. I have 4 children, 3 grown and one still at home. 26 b, 23 b, 18 g and 11 b.
I am a paralegal, however, lost my job Oct 15th. Still looking for a job and on unemployment.
Had my first panic attack at 15 years old. I have agoraphobia (avoidance behaviors). It comes and goes as far as my level of avoidance.
I am currently on another support group. There are about 10 of us and we all have been on that group for 11 years now. I love these ladies, we have been through everything together, but......
I need more, I need to surround myself with people that are on the way to overcoming this disorder. I never thought it was possible. I thought I would live my life this way, white knuckling through my life. I like just abut everyone else have been on countless meds, seen countless drs, counselors.
I had a light bulb moment during my JOB INTERVIEWING nightmare. Very stressful. I actually interviewed for a legal position that could bring wonderful things to my life and I found myself scared to actually be offered this position.
That is it, done with living this way. I am going to overcome this. I am working through two programs, using what works for me. I purchased these programs long ago, but at that time did not want to believe that I was scaring myself into this condition, but now I see it, it is up to me.
Well I wrote small novel here.

Hi Nina,
Just wanted to say welcome, and congratulations on deciding to work through
your anxiety! That takes a lot of courage. What kind of 'programs' are you
using?
good luck! Keep us posted.
